Day 2 – Anchorage Touring
Today a local guide joins us for a tour of Anchorage, Alaska's largest city. Visit the Log Cabin Visitor Center and Resolution Park to see the Captain Cook Monument as well as Ship Creek Viewpoint which overlooks Cook Inlet. We also visit the Alaska Native Heritage Center which features inter-active displays and exhibits. Tonight, dinner is at the Snow Goose Restaurant. Breakfast and dinner

Day 3 – Prince William Sound Cruise
We begin today with a visit to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center a haven for orphaned or injured Alaskan wildlife. Later, we take the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel to the town of Whittier and board the Klondike Express, a high-speed catamaran for an unforgettable cruise of Prince William Sound. The sheltered waters of the Sound offer excellent wildlife viewing. Enjoy lunch while taking in some of the most spectacular scenery in Alaska, including the 26 glaciers which line College and Harriman fjords. Breakfast and lunch

Day 4 – Discover Alaska’s Interior
Begin with a stop at the Iditarod Dog Race Headquarters located in Wasilla. We then make our way along the Parks Highway to the Denali area. Later, sample Alaskan cuisine at Cabin Nite where you enjoy an all-you-can-eat Alaska dinner. Then sit back for a hilarious show of tall tales, fun songs and foot-stompin' music. Breakfast and dinner

Day 5 – Explore Denali National Park
An experienced local guide conducts today's full-day Tundra Wilderness Tour that travels more than 50 miles into Denali National Park and weather permitting, you see North America's tallest mountain. You will learn about the history and geology of this national treasure. Bring your camera to capture the incredible scenery. Be on the lookout for caribou, moose, grizzlies, wolves and Dall sheep that inhabit the park. Breakfast and box lunch

Day 6 – Ride the Alaska Railroad
There is time this morning to explore the beauty and wonder of Denali National Park on your own or you may wish to take an optional excursion. Imagine yourself soaring above the trees on an exciting helicopter flightseeing trip in search of wildlife, or leisurely floating along the Nenana River on a river float trip. In the afternoon we board the Alaska Railroad for a journey to the historic town of Fairbanks. Catch glimpses of Mt. McKinley and the rest of the Alaska Range through the stands of spruce and pine. Breakfast

Day 7 – Fairbanks
We cast off aboard the Riverboat Discovery, the only authentic sternwheeler in Alaska. Your narrated cruise takes you to Old Chena Village where native Alaskan guides show the culture and lifestyle of the original Alaskans. The afternoon is free to enjoy Alaska's second largest city at your own pace or you may wish to join us on an optional visit to the El Dorado Gold Camp for a rail journey through an old mining camp. Here you will be able to try your hand at gold panning in an authentic setting. Dinner this evening is a sumptuous all-you-can-eat feast of grilled salmon, prime rib or deep-fried halibut and cod. Afterwards, enjoy humorous skits and songs about early Fairbanks in the Palace Theatre's production, Golden Heart Review. Dinner

Day 8 – Travel Home
